About this qualification

This higher education diploma provides a strong foundation in creative practice, preparing students for diverse roles across the design and screen industries. Through hands?on studio work and theoretical learning, students develop core skills in visual communication, design thinking and contemporary creative technologies.

Upon successful completion, students transition into Griffith University’s Bachelor of Film and Screen Media, where they further develop skills in film production, streaming television, writing and development, virtual production, 3D art and post?production. Through workshops, masterclasses and access to state?of?the?art facilities, students benefit from strong industry connections, work placements and opportunities with LiveLab, Griffith Film School’s commercial production studio.
