This subject trains you to develop a professional standard of creative practice through a student-designed, research-informed collaborative project (proposal must be approved by the Subject Coordinator). It builds on the Foundations of Creative Practice through the increased scale and professional level and quality of the projects undertaken. You will specialise in either music performance, composition or music production/technology and be provided with structured learning materials to support the development of your project. You will participate in group mentoring, evaluation and project management activities. Learning materials will encourage creative development and expose you to a range of creative practices and research methodologies used to develop creative work in academic and professional contexts.
