About this subject
This subject is one of three subjects in the Technologies Options group. Completing all three will provide a specialisation in Technologies. This subject provides an overview of the fundamental elements of the Design and Technologies curriculum. By applying knowledge and practical skills and processes when using technologies and other resources to create innovative solutions, independently and collaboratively, students will develop knowledge, understanding and skills to respond creatively to current and future needs. The subject will engage students in critical and creative thinking, including understanding interrelationships in systems when solving complex problems. Please Note : If it’s your first time studying a Curtin University subject you’ll need to complete their compulsory ‘Academic Integrity Program’ .
